Let there be Light

Working for a non-profit that deals with energy efficiency starts to rub off on a person. However in my line of work there isn’t much effort put into the beauty of retrofitting and that is a shame because there are so many ways to reduce energy and still be stylish about it.

These beautiful industrial bottle lights have been re purposed into chandelier lights  by Hudson Goods and are so lovely.

This intricate Hyphae Lamp is actually 3-D printed and is completely one-of-a-kind with its organic simulation of growth. Made with nylon and CREE LED’s this is not only energy efficient but gorgeous to look at.

Michelle Brand is an amazing artist who specializes in up cycling and this is a wonderful example of her cascading chandelier she makes out of recycled plastic bottoms. Just stunning
