Doors and Stairways to Nowhere….but your imagination

What does a stairway that leads to empty space or a doorframe without walls standing perfectly in an empty field make you think of?

Created by architect Todd Saunders “Forest Stair” rises above the surrounding park and gives the visitor a different view they would not otherwise have.

These doorways were not photoshopped they are an installation by Nicole Evans and Pat Farrell

Created for the Uncommon Common Art treasure hunt in Kings County, Nova Scotia.

Here’s a couple thinkers by Lang Baumman

I love this doorway in the middle of the pathway. Dismal Swamp, Australia

And finally….the bridge to nowhere

I prefer the idea that Alaska made an art installation rather than a functional bridge. Sure makes for interesting photos!
